As of October 28, 2026, The Wolf Among Us Remastered does not have an announced GOG release or a GOG store listing. The GOG page that appears in searches is for the original 2013 game. If you want the remaster's updated presentation, Noir Mode, and playable lost scenes, do not mistake that original listing for the new edition.
What does GOG currently sell?
GOG's The Wolf Among Us page identifies the original game, with a 2013 release date. It offers GOG's DRM-free installers for that edition. It is not a purchase or download page for The Wolf Among Us Remastered.
GOG also has a community Dreamlist entry for the remaster. A Dreamlist entry lets people request a game; it is not a product listing, preorder, or release announcement. We have not found a statement from Telltale or GOG confirming a DRM-free remaster edition.
| Edition | GOG status on October 28, 2026 | What the listing means |
|---|---|---|
| The Wolf Among Us (original) | Available | The original five-episode adventure, sold DRM-free by GOG. |
| The Wolf Among Us Remastered | No confirmed store listing | The community Dreamlist is a request, not an available build. |
Where can I find the remaster?
Telltale's official announcement says the digital edition launches on October 29, 2026 for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, plus PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. It is playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. The Nintendo Switch edition is scheduled for a later, unannounced date. Physical editions are planned for early 2027.
For PC purchase details, compare our Steam guide and Epic Games Store guide. Check the current store page before buying, because regional prices and availability can change.
What if I want a DRM-free copy?
The GOG edition of the original is a valid DRM-free way to play Bigby Wolf's first investigation. It does not turn into the remaster by owning it, and no GOG upgrade path has been announced. The remaster's Noir Mode, restored playable scenes, visual changes, and archival extras belong to the new edition; read our feature guide if those are the reason you plan to buy.
If a GOG release matters to you, follow Telltale's official news and the GOG Dreamlist rather than buying the original under the assumption that it includes remastered content. We will update this page when either company announces a store listing.
